The demo for Hug was released by my dear friend Charly Houston in the last few days of December 2018. By January 2019, Charly had passed away. We all play our own versions of Charly's music, so that her music continues to live.
I have played Hug at every gig and live stream since.
All proceeds from the Bandcamp sales will be donated to the Tegan and Sara Foundation.
I wanted this song to be released on December 31st, but due to distribution deadlines, it won't hit online stores until January, so I'm doing the early release here.
When this song is released on all major platforms, please download it, stream it and add it to your playlists. The money from these sales goes to the mental health charity Mind and I'd love nothing more than to get Charly's music into the charts, even if just for a moment.
